GRAND JUNCTION, Colo., Feb. 13, 2018 -- The Strategic Health Information Exchange Collaborative (SHIEC), a national collaborative representing health information exchanges (HIEs), today announced the organization’s Strategic Business and Technology (SB&T) partner program grew 640% in 2017. In one year, SHIEC’s vendor membership expanded from five to 32 members, and the pipeline continues to grow for 2018.
“SHIEC experienced massive growth in 2017. SHIEC’s HIE membership reached 60 members, and as we continue to attract more HIE members, the vendors who support them are also signing on,” said Kelly Hoover Thompson, SHIEC’s CEO. “Our Strategic Business and Technology partners provide a technology ecosystem that supports our member HIEs. The HIEs benefit from regular vendor events focused on educating them about new technologies and trends, and our vendors have access to the people and organizations implementing health data sharing across the country. It’s a win for everyone involved.”
Current members of the SB&T partner program include organizations such as:
- 4medica
- Ambra Health
- Audacious Inquiry
