“The Curse of Oak Island” season 7 episode 9 is coming up, and spoilers are already here. This will be an intriguing chapter as Rick, Marty, and their team has found something that seems to prove one of their initial theories.
“The Curse of Oak Island” season 7, episode 9 has been titled “An Eye for an Eye.” As posted on History, its synopsis reads: “New evidence suggests the swamp may be man-made on a scale the team never could have anticipated.”
The team’s latest discovery
As stated, the team is happy that their months of diggings in the swamp have finally paid off. This is because they think they found some evidence that confirms the swamp is actually manmade to cover up the treasures. Now the Lagina brothers and their team of experts think that they are just 14 feet away from where the gems were buried - at the Money Pit.
“The Curse of Oak Island” season 7 episode 9 is expected to show more the group’s time around the swamp as things are getting really interesting in that area. Also, finding the oldest structure on shaft 2 is another thing that convinced everyone that they are really close to the Money Pit now.
Other things to expect
There will probably be more diggings in the swamp and shaft 2 in “The Curse of Oak Island” season 7 episode 9. They are likely to continue to dig, especially in the area where they had uncovered some flat rocks as they think this was made to serve as a road when the treasures were buried.
It was previously reported by TV Insider that there are many theories surrounding the location of the Money Pit, and it was said that theorists proposed that Nicolas Poussin’s 17th-century painting titled “The Shepherds of Arcadia” holds clues where the treasures actually sit in the Oak Island.
In “The Curse of Oak Island” season 7, episode 9, the Lagina’s and experts met up with Corian Mol, a researcher and one of the theorists who think that French artist Nicolas Poussin left many clues about the treasures through his paintings. Mol will explain to the team why he believes the artists left hints on his artworks.
“The Curse of Oak Island” season 7 episode 9 will air on Jan. 14 at 9 p.m. on History.
