The Linley Group Announces Winners of Annual Analysts’ Choice Awards

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif., Jan. 12, 2018 -- The Linley Group is proud to announce the winners of its annual Analysts' Choice Awards which recognize the top semiconductor products of 2017 in six categories: server processors, embedded processors, mobile processors, processor-IP cores, networking chips, and best technology.

The contenders were evaluated for performance, power, features, and cost of each device in the context of their target application.

Best Embedded Processor: Broadcom’s BCM58808H processor
Best Processor IP: Arm’s Mali-G72 GPU
Best Networking Chip: Mellanox’s ConnectX-5 Ethernet controller
Best Mobile Processor: Samsung’s Exynos 8895 processor
Best Technology: SecureRF quantum-resistant cryptography
