“Val x Love” season 1 is now complete after airing with 12 episodes. It concluded in December 2019 with the “The Loving Maiden” episode, and now the fans are waiting for the renewal announcement.
As expected, the nine sisters or the Valkyries living in Takuma’s home triumphantly demolished the monsters that were trying to wreak havoc in the city and eat them. Of course, Takuma who has been assigned to be the sisters’ lover or the Einheijer by the god Odin and father of the Valkyries.
Overview
“Val x Love,” tells the story of a 16-year-old Takuma is a loner because his classmates and even neighbors fear him. For no reason other than his appearance, they all fear him, so whenever he arrives, everyone leaves, or they move away from him. When the monsters called "akuma" began attacking the city and people are killed, they point at Takuma as the culprit just because they find him fearsome, and he lives alone.
However, his loneliness ended when the god Odin sent his nine daughters to live in his home so they can save the world together with Akutsu Takuma. The lovely sisters have their own powers, but they needed to be loved or have intimacy with Takuma before their powers are activated or get a boost.
Renewal update and plot prediction
Now, is “Val x Love” season 2 going to be renewed? The anime’s conclusion showed that there will be more episodes to come; thus, the second installment is to be anticipated. Takuma just got more powerful, and he started to realize his unique abilities so he likely to work further with the Valkyries.
It is also interesting to see how the group will deal with the villains from now on since they will definitely face stronger opponents now that they have become more powerful and closer to Takuma. However, problems could arise as well because some of the sisters appeared to have started falling really in love with the highschooler, and jealousy is bound to happen as the nine sisters vie for his love and attention in “Val x Love” season 2.
“Val x Love” season 2 is predicted to be released in October 2020 on HIDIVE.
