Miami International Airport was ranked as the tenth busiest airport in the United States as measured by the total number of passengers for calendar year 2016, with a total of 44.6 million traveling global passengers. This was an increase of 234,000 from the year prior, which also secured the airport’s seventh-consecutive year of passenger growth.
Miami’s South Terminal serves one-fourth of the airport’s passengers. The spa is located centrally between Concourse H and Concourse J, which account for a total of 28 gates serving 20 domestic and international carriers.
“We are extremely excited to open our second location in Miami International Airport. This is yet another example of our efforts to backfill markets, extend our customer reach, and build our brand,” said Ed Jankowski, CEO of XpresSpa. “We look forward to pursing similar opportunities as we expand throughout the country.”
