Senior Researcher & Laboratory Manager, University of St Andrews
Graham is Senior Researcher and Laboratory Manager in the Optical Manipulation Group at University of St Andrews, with diverse interests in using light to perform measurements. He has an MPhys in Theoretical Physics and Mathematics and a PhD in Physics from University of St Andrews, and has worked in the areas of quantum technology, atomic physics, light shaping, raman spectroscopy of whisky, optical tweezers, and speckle metrology.
He is passionate about communicating science to all audiences, and was the 2020 Silver Medallist (Physical Sciences) in the STEM for Britain competition at the House of Commons, Westminster.
