Following time in community work in London, travelling widely and studying Middle East politics at the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), I completed my PhD at the LSE in 2014. I conducted fieldwork on municipal politics and relations with minority communities in Paris, Lyon and Marseille.
I have also taught widely in the social sciences at the LSE including course in social policy, nationalism and research methods.
