Sony has released details regarding the bundles that its “PlayStation 4 Slim” will come with in preparation for the holidays. The package will come with “Uncharted 4” as well as “Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare,” along with all the other freebies that consumers can purchase.
Sony has been having a difficult few days. From the lackluster reception of what was supposed to be its definitive video game console, to the news about its falling out with Bethesda regarding mods for the PS4, the Japanese company needs to do something to convince consumers that their products are worth buying. This is where enticing bundles come in, and what could be more appealing than the last “Uncharted” game and the next “Call Of Duty” installment?
As GamesRadar notes, however, the bundles don’t apply to the “PS4 Pro” just yet. Perhaps Sony will release details on packages for the souped-up game box in the near future. For now, gamers will simply have to settle for the “PS4 Slim” and the games that come with it.
As for pricing, the first bundle that gamers can get is the one with “Uncharted 4,” which is priced at $299. That would be on September 15, so that’s a date that fans of Nathan and crew will need to keep an eye on.
Tom’s Guide notes that waiting a bit for October 5 will give consumers more options to choose from, specifically the option to get the bundle with “COD: Infinite Warfare” inside. It also comes with the remastered version of “Call Of Duty 4: Modern Warfare,” which will then allow players to play the upgraded title a full month before the actual release date.
Finally, there’s also a “Watchdogs 2” “PS4 Slim” bundle that will come with both the sequel and the original games in the series. This particular bundle will come out on November 15. It should be noted that no prices have yet been released for either the “Call Of Duty” bundle or the “Watchdogs” bundle as of writing this piece.
