When “Titanfall” was introduced back in 2013, gamers expressed their admiration via thunderous applause and much adoration for the concept. When it was finally released, however, its effect lasted only for a while and players practically forgot that it exists. This fact was not lost on “Respawn Entertainment,” which is why they are making some major improvements with “Titanfall 2,” including changes with the map flow and bringing the title to the ‘PlayStation 4.”
Hardcore Gamer reports that the game developers are incredibly excited to finally cater to the more than 40 million “PS4” users. Perhaps to emphasize this point, the playable demo of ‘Titanfall 2” during E3 was only available for the “PS4.” The game will come to both the “PC” and “Xbox One” however, so loyal fans of the first game can rest easy knowing that they won’t be left out.
In terms of the map flow, one of the most common problems that players of the original game reportedly had was how movement interruptions in areas often took them out of the game. The same went with the artificial intelligence available with “Titanfall,” since they didn’t respond all that well.
“Respawn Entertainment” also addressed the number of “Titans” that are available for use. The first game only featured three different types of “Titans” and they all played the same. There was hardly any variety, which many players thought took much away from their gaming experience. This time, there will be six “Titans” available and they will all feature different play styles.
Many of the good things about the original game can still be found in “Titanfall 2,” as Gamerant noted while covering the title’s gameplay trailer. In terms of assets and fluidity of movement, fans of the original game will be happy to know that these aspects are still present. Combined with the improvements and its availability on the “PS4,” “Titanfall 2” has considerable potential to make a long-lasting impact this time.
