Adidas to Provide Exclusive Apparel as Official Merchandise Sponsor for Esports World Cup in Riyadh
Esports Insider reported that the Esports World Cup, a highly anticipated multi-title esports event organized by the prestigious Esports World Cup Foundation, has proudly announced a significant partnership with the renowned German activewear brand Adidas.
As a result of this exciting collaboration, Adidas will serve as the official merchandise sponsor of the event, offering participants an exclusive and high-quality clothing collection, a testament to their importance and the event's commitment to their experience.
Additionally, event staff will receive co-branded shirts for the event, held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, from July 4th to August 25th, 2024, in addition to supplying players with apparel. According to a release, the partnership will "support the pursuit of victory" of tournament participants.
Adidas is consistently broadening its presence in the esports sector. In May 2024, the brand partnered with the North American organization 100 Thieves to introduce a co-branded merchandise collection. Adidas has previously collaborated with the Foundation on the Esports World Cup. The two organizations collaborated in July 2023 to organize Gamers8, an event succeeded by the Esports World Cup in 2024.
