LOS ANGELES, Sept. 18, 2017 -- AdvisoryWorld, a leading software provider for financial advisors, was recently named “Best Work Saving Development for Advisors” and “Best True Hackathon” at Orion Advisor Services’ Fourth Annual Fuse Conference, on September 7-10 in Park City, Utah.
AdvisoryWorld competed against 27 hackathon participants to win the two titles which were given by Fuse’s esteemed judges panel that consisted of both advisors and industry thought leaders including Technology Tools for Today's Joel Bruckenstein, Nerd's Eye Blog's Michael Kitces, and FPPad's Bill Winterberg. The annual Orion Fuse Conference hackathon asks coders to utilize Orion's Insight dashboard for interactive client presentations to create new disruptive technologies for advisors. This year, the theme was integration and a deeper level of collaboration – or "Fusions," which represents Orion's view that anyone can 'integrate' but only the top technology firms take the concept of integration to the next level, deeply conjoining their technologies for the benefit of advisors.
“Competing in Orion’s Fuse Conference Hackathon has become a tradition for us at AdvisoryWorld that we look forward to each year,” said Michael Wilson, COO & President of AdvisoryWorld. “This year, we addressed Orion’s deeper integration theme head-on by building an even tighter integration with Orion’s Integration Center which allows firm level users to administer their AdvisoryWorld apps. The new feature set was entirely coded over a 72 hour stretch at Fuse, includes the ability to track usage for ROI and training purposes. The company also built and deployed a process which automatically maps unrecognized investments to best fit index proxies. We are honored that our hard hacking work was recognized by the judges and can’t wait to participate again in next year’s conference.”
AdvisoryWorld's established technology suite that includes Acquire, the Advisor Proposal Generator, SCANalytics, and Intelligence tools, supports advisors throughout the entire prospect-to-client lifecycle. In addition to providing advisors with white labeled client experiences, reports and proposals, AdvisoryWorld technology enables RIAs and other investment professionals to optimize portfolios using the efficient frontier as well as analyze risk metrics and manage risk by using several Modern Portfolio Theory statistics such as Alpha, Beta, R2, Sharpe Ratio and Correlation.
