Proven technology leader to play key role at fast-growing pharmaceutical services firm

PRINCETON, N.J., March 14, 2016 -- APCER Life Sciences, the truly global provider of safety, medical, regulatory, and technology services, announced today that Ms. Aparna Mazumdar has joined the firm as Head of Global Business Solutions. Aparna will lead the development and implementation of technology-based solutions for APCER’s expanding offices and rapidly growing client base.

Aparna has more than fifteen years’ experience in managing IT organizations and executing enterprise level projects. She worked for twelve years at Sun Pharma in positions of increasing responsibility and was most recently the Global Head of R&D IT at Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. Prior to that, Aparna worked with Pentasoft Technologies Ltd. as Project Manager & Faculty. She also has three years of research experience.

Aparna holds a Master of Life Sciences degree from DAVV Indore, a Master of Biotechnology and Engineering from India Institute of Technology Kharagpur, one of India’s most prestigious technical universities, and a Master of Business Administration with specialization in Strategic Management and Information Technology from Management Development Institute, a premier business school in Gurgaon, India.
Aparna will be based in APCER’s Delhi, India office and lead a global team located in Delhi and London, UK.
