DENVER, Feb. 4, 2016 -- StoneRiver, Inc., the trusted insurance technology partner with solutions across multiple business lines, today announced that Arbella® Insurance Group (Arbella) has gone live for their workers' compensation business using StoneRiver core processing systems for policy and billing.
Arbella's move from a legacy workers' compensation system positions them to achieve their ultimate goal of having all commercial lines of business on StoneRiver core systems. Commercial lines are an important part of Arbella's business, and the company wanted to continue their solid growth and maintain their resilience in challenging markets. Decommissioning legacy systems and support provides the Arbella business team with all the benefits and automated functions of the StoneRiver applications. New flexibility will help Arbella accommodate a changing business environment with additional adaptability, easily changed business rules and more automation of routine processes.
"Arbella Insurance has always been dedicated to service and relationships," said Arbella Vice President and Chief Information Officer Paul Brady. "Having our workers' compensation business on StoneRiver systems delivers a new level of efficiency that directly relates to improved assistance and service for agents and policyholders."
StoneRiver Senior Vice President Thomas Chesbrough noted, "We are always pleased when an existing customer sees the value in our systems and extends their use. This is a significant achievement for Arbella, and StoneRiver was gratified that we could help them accomplish their transformational goal."
