BTS V got his taste of first being involved in a major scandal after he was caught with an e-cigarette. The incident happened on Christmas day when Jimin posted his homemade Christmas video on BTS’ official Twitter account.
The said video has already been deleted as soon as fans started commenting about the Juul vaping device on BTS V’s short appearance in the video. The image shows Kim Taehyung lying on his back, and fans were quick to spot the blue e-cigarette beside him.
The fans’ reactions
Fans are freaking out, and Twitter has been flooded with tweets as they express their thoughts on BTS V’s clip with the e-cigarette. Many were frustrated and showed their disappointments to the 23-year-old idol singer.
“So Jimin deleted the video because Taehyung is smoking Juul lol,” one fan commented. “Does he want to ruin his voice..? It seems like he’s addicted and the ARMY’s saying deleting is exactly the problem but if it’s not a big deal why did they delete it.”

Another fan calls out BTS V and said that smoking is bad for the health and his work, but he still did it, so what is he thinking? Others left advice for the singer and told him to stop because vaping is not good in any way.
“I am an older ARMY and if that Juul is really yours or any member who it might belong to, I strongly encourage you to stop now. I’m an ex-smoker and I’m telling you smoking or vaping is not worth the temporary buzz or feeling of calm, you’re so much better than that crap.”
Advice to stay healthy
The most frustrated of BTS V’s fans even posted the negative effects of vaping and smoking. They also called out fans who turn a blind eye on the bad habits that their idols are doing. Someone reminded the fans that if their favorite singers this smoking vice, they may end up in the hospital one day, so rather than tolerating, they must stop them before it’s too late.
“A lot of people blindly support idols no matter what they do,” a concerned fan tweeted. “Juul can cause brain damage, addiction, cardiovascular effects and much more. Y’all will say amen to everything Taehyung does till someday he ends in hospital and all of you will cry. Wake up and advise ur idols.”
In any case, Big Hit Entertainment has yet to release a statement about BTS V’s alleged use of an e-cigarette. Fans are hoping that it does not belong to the singer, and if it is true, he should wake up now.
