BTS is currently the biggest boy band from South Korea, and they are slowly conquering the world with their albums and passionate performances. The group has been recognized in and out of their home country, and they continue to make waves by breaking music records left and right with their new album.
The boyband is currently on their “Love Yourself: Speak Yourself” concert tour, but it was reported that BTS is releasing their new movie. It was said that it would be out in theaters on Aug. 7 and it will be the same date globally.
BTS’ New Movie
The new movie is titled “Bring the Soul: The Movie” and it will show how BTS worked on their projects after the ones shown in the “Burn the Stage: The Movie” were completed. To be more specific, it will mostly focus on the group’s “Love Yourself” promotion and how they hop on one country to the next to meet their fans through their performances.
In the film, BTS’ concerts in 12 key cities would be featured. They will also be interviewed, and the camera will follow them as they become tourists in Europe. Apparently, they doubled their concert schedule as a time to film their movie, so they got to tour a bit before heading to their next destination for the scheduled shows.
The “Bring the Soul: The Movie” will star RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V and Jungkook and based on the press release, its official synopsis reads: "From Seoul to Paris, the tour was full of energy and passion. On the day following the final Paris concert, on a rooftop table in the city, the boys begin a small after-party, sharing their own stories as never heard before."
BTS Launches Fan Community on Weverse
Big Hit Entertainment, the agency that manages BTS, announced on July 1 that the group had opened its fan community called BTS Weverse. This is different from the traditional fan cafes that Kpop groups usually have and set up by fans. The ARMY from worldwide can interact with the group and get new updates about their activities through this new platform.
