LiveMint’s five-stock November slate, attributed to Pabitro Mukherjee, Bajaj Broking’s deputy vice president for technical research, differs from the brokerage’s public Diwali picks, including on Adani Power’s entry range.

LiveMint reported Nov. 8 that Mukherjee named five stocks and provided their associated levels. Bajaj Broking published its public Diwali selection on Nov. 5. That article lists nine stocks and does not confirm the five-name slate reported by LiveMint.

LiveMint gave State Bank of India an entry range of ₹990–₹1,020, a ₹1,149 target and a ₹920 stop-loss over 12 months. Its other calls were Swiggy at ₹188–₹191, with a ₹206 target and ₹177 stop-loss over six months; Adani Power at ₹199–₹204, with a ₹223 target and ₹187 stop-loss over six months; Lloyds Engineering at ₹82–₹84, with a ₹99 target and ₹72 stop-loss over 12 months; and GE Vernova at ₹3,980–₹4,030, with a ₹4,545 target and ₹3,610 stop-loss over 12 months.

Bajaj Broking’s Diwali article names ICICI Bank, Adani Power and Lloyds Engineering Works as technical picks. GE Vernova T&D India appears among its fundamental selections. The article does not include State Bank of India or Swiggy.

For Adani Power, the brokerage’s article gives an entry range of ₹188–₹194 and a ₹223 target, compared with LiveMint’s ₹199–₹204 range and the same target. Bajaj Broking lists Lloyds Engineering Works at ₹82–₹84 with a ₹99 target, matching LiveMint’s figures for Lloyds Engineering. Separately, Bajaj Broking lists GE Vernova T&D India at ₹4,080–₹4,165 with a ₹4,545 target; LiveMint names its pick GE Vernova and reports a ₹3,980–₹4,030 range and the same target.

LiveMint reported Mukherjee cited a gain of more than 2,500 points in the Nifty 50 over 10 sessions. He said the market might pause at higher levels, with attention focused on individual stocks. Bajaj Broking’s Diwali page says its targets are estimates and warns that prices may fall below suggested levels.

EconoTimes previously covered a separate Anand Rathi recommendation for State Bank of India, which NDTV Profit reported carried a ₹1,337 target. The National Stock Exchange of India scheduled Muhurat Trading for Sunday, Nov. 8, for Diwali Laxmi Pujan and said it would announce the session timings separately.
