Ben Affleck, Shauna Sexton Split: Jennifer Garner’s Ex Reportedly Wants to Work on His Sobriety and Be with His Family

Ben Affleck and Shauna Sexton have broken up and this put an end to their affair that lasted for just a few months. They were first spotted together in August and a photo of them was published by People.

Now, even if they have not admitted to dating, many are convinced they were in a relationship. The indications that they were indeed a couple include having dinners together, her visits to the actor’s home and, recently, vacationing in Montana.

It was said that the reason for Ben Affleck and Shauna Sexton’s split was the former’s goal of being completely sober again wanting to set his focus on his kids, Violet, 12, Seraphina, 9, and Samuel, 6.

“Ben is feeling great and he knows as the holidays get near, he will be looking to get back to writing more and being there for his kids,” an insider allegedly told Hollywood Life. “Not that he ever wasn’t, but he really wants to do more of the family thing and really make a constant focus of his attention on his health and family to end 2018 on a high note.”

Then again, it seems that Jennifer Garner’s ex still has plans of getting back together with the 22-year-old Playboy model once he overcomes his issues with alcoholism. Ben Affleck reportedly finds Shauna Sexton cool and thinks they can do better when he sobers up.

“He really likes Shauna, but he doesn’t want to pin her down and get into a relationship with her and would rather see her thrive and not be bogged down by his schedule and health concerns,” the source added. “Once he is in a better place he would definitely consider getting back with Shauna.”

Now, the news of their separation is a bit shocking since they just had their vacation last week. They went to Montana for a short break and this was after the court finalized Ben Affleck’s divorce with Jennifer Garner.

As per People, Montana is a special place for the actor and he often goes there with his family to bond. They also spend holidays like Christmas there, where Ben Affleck has a home that sits in a private ski resort. However, it is not clear if this was where he stayed with Shauna during their outing.
