“Better Call Saul” Season 4 has two more episodes left in its tank before the current installment ends. The overall ratings of the fourth season have been a success, which didn’t surprise anybody as the writers of the crime-drama series have time again proven their storytelling acumen.
But it isn’t just the narrative that makes “Better Call Saul” Season 4 great but the directors handling the episodes as well. One of the directors, Daniel Sackheim, has been involved in a lot of TV series, including the “X-Files,” “The Walking Dead,” and “Game of Thrones.”
Sackheim first joined the crew of the crime drama series in season 3, where he directed “Chicanery.” In “Better Call Saul” Season 4, he handled the episode “Something Beautiful,” which the director described as a “blue sky show,” Den of Geek reported.
Bringing in directors like Sackheim is often underappreciated by audiences since they’re more focused on the plotlines and character development unfolding on the show. But even though this is the case, Sackheim seems to relish being an unseen force that is weaving everything together in the background. The next episode of “Better Call Saul” Season 4 is out on Sept. 17, which is titled as “Something Stupid.”
The logline for the next episode states that Jimmy is looking to expand his business but runs into a problem that only Kim is able to iron out. Meanwhile, Gus will interfere with Hector’s medical care and Mike tries to remedy a setback. But one of the major developments of “Better Call Saul” Season 4 is the construction of a meth super lab.
This super lab will be housed under an industrial cleaners building and is being made by German engineers. It will be interesting to see where this will lead in the story’s unfolding as the facility will surely amplify the drug trade of Gus (Giancarlo Esposito) and Mike (Jonathan Banks). “Better Call Saul” Season 4 will undoubtedly incorporate this crucial development into this installment’s finale. How the showrunners will pull it off, however, remains to be seen.
