“Better Caul Saul” Season 5 is going to continue with the transformation of Jimmy (Bob Odenkirk) into Saul Goodman. While there isn’t any concrete information on what will happen in the next installment, fans can make an educated guess by looking back at what happened in season 4, Express reported.
One of the most anticipated things is the crossover between the show and “Breaking Bad.” It isn’t clear if this event will take place in “Better Call Saul” Season 5 but writer Vince Gilligan said that it’s definitely going to happen at some point in the series.
Gilligan said that Walter White (Bryan Cranston) and Jesse Pinkman (Aaron Paul) will indeed be making an appearance in the crime-oriented drama. However, there’s still no indication when this will happen and even Gilligan himself is unsure.
"[We take things] very much season by season. And I'm less involved than I used to be," Gilligan explained. "We really don't know where it's all going." Vague as this admission might be, the crossover is likely going to happen soon given how the show is currently shaping up. This year’s installment only has two more episodes left in the tank before filming for “Better Caul Saul” Season 5 takes place.
There are a lot of things that have unfolded this season, including the building of a meth super lab. And speaking of which, there’s a lot of tension involving this plotline with regards to the workers who were tasked to construct it. Fans of the show are predicting that these workers will be buried underneath the facility in order to keep the building a secret. While this has yet to happen, the very thought of it is chilling enough and “Better Call Saul” Season 5 will surely touch up on this.
The next installment has been commissioned by AMC even before season 4 aired. This is a testament to how the crime drama is performing and “Better Call Saul” Season 5 is likely going to bring in similar numbers. The announcement for its release has yet to be revealed but if previous seasons are anything to go by, it’s likely going to air sometime around August 2019.
