‘Black Clover’ chapter 244 air date, spoilers: Asta and Dante’s battle continues as Noelle may finally face Vanica

“Black Clover” chapter 244 will continue with the story from the point after the Dante, the leader of the Dark Triad, attacked the Black Bull squad. Because he possesses a strong power of the devil and gravity magic, he already defeated most of the protagonists and destroyed the Clover kingdom too.

In “Black Clover” chapter 243 called the “Devil Host vs. Devil Host,” Asta was so mad for what happened to his comrades. They are all down and even Gauche was seriously hurt. He can’t control his anger that his rage made him turn all-black and a pair of horns grew on him too and carelessly attack Dante.

While Asta's attacks were able to wipe off Dante's spell from the entire area, Vanessa, Grey, Gauche and the base still fell to the ground. After witnessing what Asta can do, Dante wants to see more of his powers and he is getting it because Asta never stops attacking him.

Unfortunately, the villain has magic that allowed him to dodge all the attacks. In the end, Dante just used 60 percent of his devil power while Asta was already going all out. Thus, it not certain if the leader of the Dark Triad will be defeated in “Black Clover” chapter 244.

Plot prediction

Asta was able to wound Dante on the face but this is not an indication that he will be defeated. In fact, that single cut made him fuming mad so he is expected to launch more severe attack on Asta in “Black Clover” chapter 244. Asta has an anti-magic demon that he could use and this is the first time that he could test it out.

Elsewhere, Noelle will finally face Megicula as she will be facing Vanica, the member of the Dark Triad demon possesses by this devil, in “Black Clover” chapter 244. Noelle has long wished to find Megicula because it’s the one who put a curse on her mother who died after giving birth to her.

It is yet to see in “Black Clover” chapter 244 if Gauche will survive. Will Nero come and save him because Vanessa can’t do anything anymore?
