Yesterday, fans of mobile phone company BlackBerry saw a post on the company’s official website that it will be taking pre-orders of its highly-anticipated Priv. ZDNet said that although the post has been taken down, it revealed to the world that interested buyers can get BlackBerry’s first Android smartphone for a whopping USD749.
The BlackBerry Priv is reportedly packing a 1.8Ghz Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 with 3GB RAM, a microSD card that can carry up to 2TB of storage and a 32G internal storage, Endgadget said. The screen is curved, made up of 5.4 inches of plastic AMOLED with a 2560 x 1440 resolution (540 DPI). New owners of the BlackBerry Priv can expect up to 22.5 hours of battery life, thanks to its 3410mAh battery. It is also believed that the phone will come with OIS,a six-element f/2.2 lens and can record 4K videos at 30 frames per second.
BlackBerry Priv is expected to be shipped to its new owners beginning November 16, Slash Gear said.
