Despite Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani not giving an ounce of attention to rumors about their real status, rumors that they are getting or have gotten married never cease. Furthermore, a recent report claimed that the two even announced they have their first baby together on the way during their wedding ceremony. How true is this?
The front page of a recent issue of Life & Style tabloid (via Gossip Cop) has a huge photo of Shelton and Stefani at the center with the big text that reads, “Yes, we’re married!” Below it are more claims that they are expecting their “little girl” along with supposed details about their nuptials. The publication further claimed that it was Stefani who made the announcement during a ceremony allegedly attended by 200 guests.
It was also stated in the same tabloid that Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton agreed to have six bridesmaids at their supposed wedding, invited three bands to perform, and served four cakes to their guests. Moreover, Life & Style purported that they have chosen Shelton’s “The Voice” co-stars Adam Levine and Kelly Clarkson to be the godparents of the upcoming baby girl.
However, all these claims have already been debunked by Gossip Cop. The fact-checking news outlet reached out to Stefani’s representative who dismissed the report as “untrue.” The official source insisted that Shelton and the former No Doubt vocalist have never been married or expecting a child of their own and quipped, “It’s a very long ceremony and pregnancy.”
Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani apparently became close to one another as they worked together on a couple of seasons of “The Voice.” They have been dating since 2015 shortly after they both came off their respective divorces from Miranda Lambert and Gavin Rossdale. Since then, the two have been relentlessly rumored to be getting married, have tied the knot, or planning to have their baby together. None of those claims have ever panned out, though.
