Erin Reagan (Bridget Moynahan) might end up burning some bridges in “Blue Bloods” season 9 episode 8. Teasers hint that several changes in the state’s law and legislation are putting Erin on the bad side of both her father and Governor Mendez (David Zayas).
The official teaser for “Blue Bloods” season 9 episode 8 is out and reveals that Erin will be at odds with Frank (Tom Selleck) — her father and the NYPD police commissioner. The episode synopsis hints that a “new legislation” passed by the District Attorney’s office will cause the brewing feud between the Reagans.
Frank is seen upset in the 20-second preview about being thrown “out of the loop.” And, according to the “Blue Bloods” season 9 episode 8 synopsis, this happens after Erin’s office passes the said legislation.
It appears that Frank and Erin will have several cold exchanges throughout “Blue Bloods” season 9 episode 8. When Erin says he expects his father to understand her office’s moves, Frank retaliates with a hint of sarcasm, “We’ll arrest, you’ll prosecute. How’s that sound?”
“Blue Bloods” season 9 episode 8 is shaping up to be one busy day for Erin. Aside from a misunderstanding with her father, a disagreement with the state governor “over questionable sex-trafficking laws” also awaits. The video teaser shows Erin fiercely promising, “These animals aren’t gonna walk.”
Meanwhile, the other Reagans will be facing their own problems in “Blue Bloods” season 9 episode 8. The teaser hints at Jamie (Will Estes) doubting his abilities to lead as a sergeant following an “accident on the job.” This could be linked an action-packed raid shown in the trailer.
On the other hand, Danny (Donnie Wahlberg) comes to the rescue for a friend who might get kicked out of law enforcement. But by helping him, Danny is also risking losing his job. “Blue Bloods” season 9 episode 8 will air on Friday, Nov. 16, at 10 p.m. ET on CBS.
