“Boruto: Naruto Next Generations” chapter 34 will mark the beginning of a new arc. But the enemies of Boruto and Naruto are unlikely to change. As the manga delves deeper into the Kara organization, the upcoming manga chapters are possibly going to reveal more details about Jigen.
Half of the available manga chapters have been talking about Kara, but still, very little information is known about its leader Jigen. In fact, Jigen only appeared a couple of times in the previous arcs. But Naruto has started to take a great interest in meeting the Kara leader that it might be happening in “Boruto: Naruto Next Generations” chapter 34.
The latest chapter ended with Kara’s Delta getting defeated. She volunteered to retrieve Kawaki from Naruto. But she ended up getting defeated after a very furious Naruto tricked her into absorbing too much chakra that her Shinobi-ware overheated and got busted. But before she lost from Naruto, the latter promised that he would “hunt down” Jigen.
Jigen is not only the leader of Kara, but he is also the adoptive father of Kawaki. But the way he treated Kawaki, as Naruto described it, has been “like an object.” The truth is Jigen really paid money to from Kawaki’s biological father to use him in an experiment. “Boruto: Naruto Next Generations” chapter 34 will likely bring up again the fact that Kawaki has been designed to be the vessel of Karma seal.
Both the ninjas of Hidden Leaf and the Kara are still gathering more information about the Karma seals. But the latter apparently has an idea of how powerful it can be, which explains why Kawaki is that important. Meanwhile, Jigen’s obsession over the karma seal might also be telling something about his past and his possible link to the Otsutsuki clan. Hopefully, “Boruto: Naruto Next Generations” chapter 34 will provide a little bit of insight about this.
The title and other details about the next arc are still unknown. All that is confirmed for now is it will start in “Boruto: Naruto Next Generations” chapter 34 that will be released on April 22.
