“Boruto: Naruto Next Generations” chapter 34 picks up from Naruto's successful battle against Delta, one of Kara's inner members. However, fans may recall that Delta did not enter Hidden Leaf alone. She was accompanied by Koji Kashin in the earlier chapters.
Unlike Delta, Koji is wiser and more patient so he knew it was best not to attack right away and observe first. As fans saw in chapter 33, Koji's strategy was obviously the right way to go. Since Delta decided to reveal herself in Hidden Leaf, the manga gave little to no update on Koji. It will not be surprising if “Boruto: Naruto Next Generations” chapter 34 would provide that.
Koji has most likely performed a thorough reconnaissance around the Hidden Leaf and its security measures by the time the new arc opens in “Boruto: Naruto Next Generations” chapter 34. This will just make him an even more dangerous opponent.
The previous chapters also showed that Koji was wise enough to realize that attacking Naruto inside the Hidden Leaf village would be futile — Delta learned that the hard way. This leads to the possibility that he might have another plan in “Boruto: Naruto Next Generations” chapter 34.
It can be recalled that Koji has witnessed Boruto’s karma seal from a distance. He even convinced Delta not to kill Naruto’s son because Koji believes he needs to be examined or further observed. Does this mean that, instead of recklessly attacking Naruto, Koji would instead plot the kidnapping of the Hokage’s son in “Boruto: Naruto Next Generations” chapter 34?
Naruto also promised Delta in chapter 33 that he will defeat Kara’s leader, Jigen, in the future. This is an apparent foreshadowing of an upcoming battle between Naruto and Jigen. And to build up the excitement around that fight, it is very possible that more details about Jigen will be revealed in “Boruto: Naruto Next Generations” chapter 34 or in the installments that will follow. A new manga chapter is slated to drop on April 22.
