The revelations in the previous chapter came with some serious and dangerous implications with regards to Jigen and Kara. By possessing and even controlling a spirit monster of their own and one that likely rivals the ten-tails that Naruto and the rest of the ninja world fought, disaster is on the horizon. What’s more, it seems that Jigen himself is preparing to attack Konoha in “Boruto” Chapter 36. Will Sasuke be able to stop him?
A meeting between Boruto and Jigen is the likeliest scenario to occur based on the hints made by the previous chapter, OtakuKart notes. With his ability to perform space-time jutsu, he can likely appear anywhere, at any time in the blink of an eye. This is why his arrival at Konoha in “Boruto” Chapter 36 might not come with any delays.
Sasuke could then either follow him, or he could try and stop him before he goes. The former will net him some possible backup since he would be within reaching distance by Naruto. The latter will mean that he will be fighting a Jigen who just fed from a spirit monster on his own. “Boruto” Chapter 36 is likely to feature that last scenario.
With this being the case, there is no chance that Sasuke will be able to defeat Jigen. Last time, it took the entire might of the ninja world to take down the ten-tails. Someone who can subdue it would likely have immeasurable strength, as “Boruto” Chapter 36 will likely demonstrate. It’s no wonder that Kashin Koji felt confident in saying that Naruto is no match for Jigen.
This does bring up the disturbing thought of the manga becoming similar to the “DBZ” franchise, though, with increasingly ridiculous enemies and challenges constantly thrown at the main characters. Fans will see if this is the case in “Boruto” Chapter 36 when it comes out on July 21.
