“Boruto” Episode 79 is titled “Reunion with Mitsuki,” so it’s virtually guaranteed that team 7 is going to be together again, or at least be in the same place. Unfortunately, there is a very powerful Jounin standing in the way of Boruto and Sarada finding Mitsuki whom they will need to overcome. Will someone come to their aid and allow them to see their friend once again?
In the last episode, quite a few intriguing developments in the series were revealed. For starters, this Lord Ku fellow presents an interesting prospect in terms of the story, Omnitos notes. His use of forbidden Jutsu makes it clear that he is a person of significance and yet the Hidden Stone village’s own Kage seems unaware of these events. What is his role going to be in “Boruto” Episode 79?
The whole situation has the potential to become a flashpoint for war, which makes it a delicate political situation. Naruto will need to handle the coordination with the Hidden Stone carefully if they are to avoid a conflict. Then again, perhaps this is exactly what Lord Ku and his minions are after. “Boruto” Episode 79 might provide some clarity on the matter.
On that note, the main focus of “Boruto” Episode 79 will be the upcoming fight between Boruto and Co. against Kokuyou. Weird character design aside, it was made clear in the previous episode that this ninja’s capabilities are nothing to scoff at. He might actually be on the level of Kakashi himself.
While it was speculated that “Boruto” Episode 79 will see Boruto matching the Jounin in a fight, OtakuKart points out that the genin group might receive some help. The source of this assistance is still a mystery, but it could be ninjas from the Hidden Stone or backup from Konoha. Fans will undoubtedly find out when the episode airs on Oct. 28.
