‘Boruto’ Episode 88 Air Date, Spoilers: Mitsuki Arc Finally Ending? Finale Details Revealed

There is no doubt that the Mitsuki Arc that is currently going on in “Boruto” has been a long one. It is so prolonged, in fact, that fans of the series are becoming frustrated with it and have been wondering when it will end. With “Boruto” Episode 88 coming, at least it can be said that the current arc is finally closer to reaching its conclusion. Details with regards to the arc’s finale have also been released.

As the preview clip below clearly shows, Onoki has thoroughly lost control of his puppets in “Boruto” Episode 88. This is reminiscent of engineers losing control of its artificial intelligence robots or just any story featuring a creator being defied by their own creation. In any case, the point remains that Onoki’s purpose for his puppets will not be coming true.

With this being the case, it would now be safe to say that destroying the puppets is the only way to actually end this fight and more important than anything, this arc. “Boruto” Episode 88 will basically be the beginning of the final battle and in a post shared on social media, it’s going to be a big one.

“Boruto and his comrades have been restrained by Kakuyou. Meanwhile, Kuu and his comrades have gained total control of Iwagakure Village: It's become completely changed. While in this desperate situation, Shikadai appears and unbinds Boruto and his comrades from their restraints! Joining forces with Inojin and Cho-Cho, they battle Kokuyou as Boruto hurries over to Kuu's location," the details read.

Now, it’s worth pointing out that Mitsuki has yet to actually play an active part in this whole affair except for when he fried Boruto when they met earlier in the arc. With the details of “Boruto” Episode 88 having been shared, all that’s left is to wait for it to air on Jan. 6.
