Chapter 37 of the “Boruto: Naruto Next Generation” manga solely focused on the fight between Jigen versus Naruto and Sasuke. So to keep the balance in the arc, it is possible that “Boruto” chapter 38 will bring the readers back to Konohagakure.
The main big fight might be happening at a different dimension. However, many interesting possibilities could happen in Konohagakure, especially considering the presence of Koji Kashin.
‘Boruto’ chapter 38 predictions: Koji Kashin makes his move, fights Sarada and Ino
There are many skilled and powerful shinobis left in Konohagakure at this point. Any one of them could end up fighting Koji if he decides to strike either Boruto and Kawaki in “Boruto” chapter 38. Koji knows Jigen is aware he is still in Konohagakure, and there would be repercussions Koji will not even attempt to retrieve Kawaki now that Naruto is not around.
Meanwhile, Ino has already alerted the Konoha police even before Jigen brought Naruto to another dimension. The cops will converge around Naruto’s house where Kawaki and Boruto are likely located in “Boruto” chapter 38. So if Koji will ever make a move, he will probably enter Naruto’s house. There is so much mystery surrounding Koji’s character that it would be unfair to have him fight any less than important supporting characters like Sakura and Ino.
Sarada was last seen to be on her way to Naruto's house, so if Koji ever attacks, she could be in danger. This could be a nice setup for Sakura to get involved in a possible fight. As for Ino, she might take Koji's presence in Konohagakure a personal blow as he obviously tricked the village's detection barrier system. It is then possible for both Sakura and Ino to get some action scenes in “Boruto” chapter 38 against Koji.
‘Boruto’ chapter 38 release date: New chapter arrives this month
The series gets a new manga installment every month, and luckily it rarely takes any break. Whether “Boruto” chapter 38 will continue the Jigen fight or focus back in Konoha, fans will certainly get the new installment on Sept. 20.
