“Bosch” season 5 is coming and filming already wrapped up late last year. The good news is that the sixth installment was also confirmed even before season 5 airs.
Deadline reported that “Bosch” season 5 executive producer Michael Connelly revealed about season 6’s early renewal by stating, “I’m on the set where we are wrapping up the filming of Season 5 and now this great news that we get to do it again with a sixth season. Can’t wait!”
“Bosch” season 5 is one of the most-awaited series on Amazon that is why the confirmation of more seasons was very thrilling to the viewers of the police procedural drama.
It was speculated that sixth season could be the last but this has yet to be officially announced. In the meantime, fans should just focus on the “Bosch” season 5 that is expected to air anytime now. There will be a few changes in the show and this includes the casting. For a bit of spoiler, here are the new faces to see on “Bosch” season 5:
Chris Vance will take the role as Dalton Walsh in “Bosch” season 5. However, it was reported that his character will only be a recurring one thus he is not listed as a regular cast member, at least for now. He will be a new villain who is playing the boss of a drug syndicate.
TV Line wrote that Ryan Hurst is also joining the lineup and will be featured as Hector Bonner in “Bosch” season 5. He does not have a very close relationship with Bosch (Titus Welliver) but they could be working together to solve various criminal cases.
Lastly, the last addition to “Bosch” season 5 is Bianca Kajlich who will act as Christina Henry, an investigator. She will be involved in one of the cases assigned under Bosch.
“Bosch” season 5 has no air date yet but since its filming is already complete, Amazon may announce it soon.
