Brad Pitt has been sober for a long time now but based on a new report, his sobriety has been broken as he returns to heavy drinking. He was said to have been spotted downing “mocktails” at the after party of his movie’s “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood,” premiere.
According to Australia’s Woman’s Day, the actor looked totally at ease as he walks around the hall, but he was holding a glass, and people are suspecting to be a cocktail. After the party, people allegedly started to whisper that Pitt has “fallen off the wagon.”
“Brad had someone bringing him drinks throughout the evening - though, of course, they could be mocktails,” the source claimed. “He certainly became more animated as the night went on, which had a lot of people questioning whether he was back on the drink.”
Is the actor back to his old drinking habits?
The report alleged that Brad Pitt’s sobriety was derailed and is back at square one. As mentioned above, he was seen drinking again, and even people who saw him think that he is back on the drink.
Those who are close to Angelina Jolie’s ex are said to be worried and fearing that he could go back to his old, self-destructive ways and adding that with all the temptations around while he parties and socialize, going back to drinking is easy. But then again, if he still has the commitment to stay sober, then he could successfully resist the temptations.
Here’s the truth
A fact-checking site contacted a friend of the actor and was told that Brad Pitt has totally given up on alcohol. This means that when he stopped drinking more than two years ago, he almost never had cocktails ever again. He is sober and never had a relapse.
It was added that Pitt already admitted about his wild partying in the old times, but he has changed. In fact, in his interview in 2017, he said that he was really a drinker in the past, but he is not like that anymore as he decided to quit. Plus, he said that having kids really motivated him to give up alcohol, and he managed to stay clean because he wants to live a better life too.
