Rumors are still circulating that Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston are rekindling their past romance. According to the Globe (via Gossip Cop), the ex-couple has been secretly seeing each other and their “chemistry is more intense than ever.”
But similar to a lot of things that the publication writes, this is not the case at all. Portia de Rossi, a close friend of Jennifer Aniston's, has already said in the past that the “Friends” alum hasn’t seen Brad Pitt for a long time.
And this isn’t surprising in the least. Since Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston split in 2005, the two have distanced themselves from each other.
This isn’t to say that they parted on bad terms. It’s just that Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston understand that their relationship wasn’t working and they made a mature decision of ending it before things got out of hand.
But Globe is insisting that the two have found comfort in each other’s arms following their breakups with their respective partners. Brad Pitt is currently finalizing his divorce with Angelina Jolie, while Jennifer Aniston parted way on good terms with Justin Theroux.
Both are also too busy in their own projects. Jennifer Aniston is currently in Italy shooting her upcoming Netflix film “Murder Mystery.” Brad Pitt, on the other hand, is working with Leonardo DiCaprio and Margot Robbie on Quentin Tarantino’s ninth film, “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.”
A lot of these rumors are being published surrounding Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt since both aren’t seeing anyone at the moment. There were even stories published this week that the “Just Go with It” star had a tryst with the “World War Z” actor in the house of George Clooney in Italy.
It goes without saying that the claim was falsely written by gossip publications to lure people into buying their magazine. What’s clear is that Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt haven’t been seen together since they broke up and each is too busy with their life to add another complication to the mix.
