Usually, frenemies refer to when friends act as enemies in public to generate drama. However, a new Brad Pitt, Leonardo DiCaprio tabloid report claims that the two are having the opposite arrangement. They supposedly appear as friends in public while disliking each other in private. The gossip even goes so far as to say that the two are at war on the set of “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.”
Once again, this bogus Brad Pitt, Leonardo DiCaprio report comes courtesy of OK!, Gossip Cop reports, which has often been credited as one of the least trustworthy publications in existence. The tabloid recently printed a headline that reads “Brad vs. Leo: It’s War!” and then proceeded to claim just that. It would seem that this particular tidbit comes from a supposed insider who is in the know.
“The perception is that Brad’s enjoying himself and has this deep friendship with Leo, but the truth is, they don’t get along very well at all. They’ve always had an intense professional rivalry and don’t actually have much in common,” the supposed insider told the publication.
The outlet even claims that the Brad Pitt, Leonardo DiCaprio issue stemmed from jealousy because of how the “Titanic” star reportedly always steals the scene. Suffice it to say, this is nothing but garbage gossip. When Gossip Cop reached out to the representative of the “Fight Club” actor, the rumor was denied.
The International Business Times adds its own voice to the matter, noting that there is no Brad Pitt, Leonardo DiCaprio feud going on. Both have already finished filming the movie that they were working on, which is ready for a premiere on August 2019. This is good news for those who might have been waiting a long time for the two actors to collaborate on something and are finally getting their wish.
