The new product showcase will be in the Broadcom Booth 1264 at the Optical Fiber Communication (OFC) 2016 exhibition in Anaheim, California from March 22nd to 24th. One-Stop-Shop Solutions for 25G-300G Short Reach Applications
Broadcom offers various chip kit solutions of VCSELs, photodiodes (PDs) and physical medium dependent integrated circuits (PMD ICs) consisting of transimpedance amplifier (TIA), clock and data recovery (CDR) and laser driver (LD) for data center, storage networking and HPC applications. Supporting multiple data rate configurations including 1x25-32G, 4x25/28G and 12x25-28G, the chip kit solutions enable a variety of short reach MMF transceiver solutions including active optical cables (AOCs) and embedded optics with leading edge optical, RF and thermal performance.
Extensive TOSA/ROSA Selection for 25G-100G Long Reach Applications
Broadcom provides a wide range of transmit optical subassembly (TOSA) and receive optical subassembly (ROSA) devices supporting various transceiver module form factors, data rates and long transmission links using SMF.
- 25G LR TOSA/ROSA designed for the SFP28 module form factor supporting 28G Ethernet, 32G Fibre Channel and the emerging 25G Ethernet Mobile Fronthaul applications with link distances up to 10 km
- 4x25G CWDM4 TOSA/ROSA designed for the QSFP28 module form factor supporting intra-data-center connectivity with 100GbE links up to 2 km
- 4x25G LR4 TOSA/ROSA designed for the CFP2 and CFP4 module form factors supporting metro Ethernet transport with 100GbE links up to 10 km
