A weed-themed crafting game dubbed Cryptobuds that lets users purchase NFT component cards to build a cannabis business, grow rare strains, and trade with other players on the WAX blockchain will be available soon.
Described as the perfect blend of NFT investment, digital collecting, design, and cannabis aesthetics, Cryptobuds has an 8-bit design that gives it a retro, nostalgic look.
The game begins when the first pack of component cards is purchased.
Each card features one of the four elements needed to grow a unique strain: seed, soil, water, and growing facility.
In turn, each resource has a level designation that is representative of its value in the game. The combination of resources used will determine the rarity of the strain produced.
The unique strains range from a Level 1 type like the “Lemon Jelly Thunder Bastard” to super-rare and twisted Level 5 strains like “Purple Sunrise Giggle Spinach.”
With 37 billion strain name combinations, Cryptobuds lets players grow their digital empires.
