WEST POINT, Va., July 19, 2017 -- C&F Financial Corporation (the Corporation) (NASDAQ:CFFI), the one-bank holding company for C&F Bank, announced today that it opened a new retail bank branch at 304 E. Main Street in Charlottesville on Monday, July 17, 2017, which is adjacent to the commercial banking office opened in 2016. C&F Mortgage Corporation’s loan origination branch has been in Charlottesville for over 15 years and is currently located on Four Seasons Drive.

“Charlottesville is the perfect market for an integrated commercial-retail-mortgage team,” said William Krebs, Regional President and University of Virginia alumnus. “Our bank is over 90 years old and completely committed to remaining independent, offering residents and business owners the local touch they appreciate. We also have the capacity to offer whatever lending or eCommerce products our customers need.”
“Charlottesville is a great Virginia community filled with diverse individuals and businesses and we look forward to serving both with our focused on you personalized service,” said Matthew Steilberg, SVP, Director of Retail Banking. “The fact that our new C&F Bank teammates are long-time residents and professionals in the market makes this a winning combination. Our new branch will represent the future of banking from a technological perspective while also reminding customers of what it feels like to have a trusted and proactive advisor to help them achieve their goals.”
