Visa currently averages about 1,700 TPS, while bitcoin only averages between 3.3 and 7 TPS. Furthermore, DTR appears to unveil the new assets in Q3 or Q4 of 2019.
Joey Krug, the co-chief investment officer at Pantera and DTR council member thinks that the major hindrance for cryptocurrency adoption is the lack of scalability, as reported by Bloomberg.
