CHICAGO, Nov. 18, 2016 -- Century Aluminum Company (NASDAQ:CENX) today announced that Rick T. Dillon will be leaving the Company in order to pursue another opportunity. Mr. Dillon joined the Company in June 2014 as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. The effective date of Mr. Dillon’s resignation will be December 2, 2016.
The Company announced that upon Mr. Dillon’s resignation, Michael Bless, the Company’s President and Chief Executive Officer, will assume the responsibilities of principal financial officer until the Board of Directors selects Mr. Dillon’s replacement.
