‘Chicago Med’ season 2’s episode 15, titled "Lose Yourself," will follow Dr. Connor Rhodes as he is thrust into the spotlight once more in his attempt to treat a trauma patient in a high-profile case.
The synopsis for episode 15 posted on TV Guide reads, “Dr. Rhodes (Colin Donnell) treats a patient whose accident has become a media sensation. Meanwhile, April (Yaya DaCosta) befriends a young woman with a failing heart; an infection in a paralyzed patient poses problems; and a grieving widower relies on a superhero costume.”
In the previous episode, titled “Cold Front,” the hospital was put on high alert when a multi-vehicular accident during a snowstorm brought in a barrage of patients. Doctors Manning (Torrey DeVitto) and Halstead (Nick Gehlfuss) were put in a tight spot when they forced a patient into making a decision involving her son and her nephew. The patient had to decide who would receive a blood transfusion depending on their chances of survival.
Dr. Choi (Brian Tee) also had to deal with a quickly deteriorating burn patient, who wished to say one last farewell to his wife while Dr. Rhodes had to do an emergency cesarean section on a pregnant woman with a blood disorder.
In the upcoming episode, Dr. Rhodes will attempt to treat a trauma patient, who survives a trip to the hospital. According to Cartermatt, Rhodes will need to keep the man alive, especially after surviving an accident that became a media sensation.
Choi will need to diagnose the location of an infection in a paralyzed patient together with Manning and Dr. Reese (Rachel DiPillo), who is getting more involved in psychiatric cases, will need to help a grieving widower who relies on a superhero costume find purpose.
Meanwhile, April will connect with a young woman with a failing heart and will need to convince Dr. Halstead to use experimental medication when they are left with no other options.
‘Chicago Med’ season 2’s episode 15, titled "Lose Yourself," is scheduled to air on March 2, 2017 on NBC. It will be followed by episode 16, titled “"Monday Mourning," scheduled to be released on March 16.
