“Chicago Med” season 4 episode 4 is titled “Backed Against the Wall” and it will show the hospital in a chaotic state. Dr. Halstead may be getting into trouble and it is all because he wants the perfect venue for his upcoming wedding to Dr. Manning.
As stated on Rotten Tomatoes, “Chicago Med” season 4 episode 4’s synopsis reads:
“Halstead is backed into a corner after unknowingly making a deal with a gangster; Manning fights for her dying patient, who is not a U.S. citizen; Rhodes and Bekker clash in the OR; Choi is shocked when he meets Emily's new boyfriend.”
The first part of the description is referring to the incident where Dr. Halstead treats someone and in exchange, he will get the banquet hall he wants for his wedding. After the treatment, Ray Burke goes up to him and demands that he continue treating the patient without listing his name in the books.
Although he is not sure how to deal with that request, he agrees since he does not want to lose the venue, which he is able to secure for a lower price. Now, the bad news is that Dr. Halstead might have unknowingly gotten himself involved with a gangster group by treating the person who appears to be a criminal.
As mentioned by Celebrity Dirty Laundry, his brother, Jay Halstead, later informs him that the Chicago PD is now keeping him under their watch and it is the consequence of making a deal without fully knowing what he is getting into. All he wants is a good banquet hall but it ends in a disaster since he is now being watched by the police for his “link” with the crooks.
“Chicago Med” season 4 episode 4 will air on Oct. 17 at 8 p.m. on NBC. For viewers who cannot watch it on television, there is an option to watch it online. See it on the NBC website or live-streaming sites like Global TV.
