Chipotle has joined the ranks of fast-food chains kicking off Halloween early with its iconic annual Boorito tradition. As Halloween approaches, restaurants unveil spooky deals and festive menu items, and Chipotle is no exception. The beloved Mexican grill has announced the return of Boorito, where customers who wear Halloween costumes can enjoy discounted entrees in participating restaurants from 3 PM until closing on October 31, 2024. In addition to the U.S. and Canada, Chipotle is expanding the Boorito celebration to Europe for the first time, offering similar deals in the U.K. and France.

Chipotle’s Chief Brand Officer Chris Brandt emphasized the company's commitment to elevating the Halloween experience for its fans. This year, Chipotle will extend store hours at select college campuses across the U.S. and expand the Boorito promotion to two new continents, making it their biggest Halloween celebration.

Highlights of Chipotle’s Boorito tricks and treats include:

  • Boorito After Hours: In recognition of Gen Z’s love for late-night dining, 53 Chipotle locations in college towns across the U.S. will stay open until midnight on Halloween, allowing students to take advantage of the USD 6 / CAD 7 Boorito deal.
  • Boorito Goes International: For the first time, Chipotle’s Boorito will be available in Europe, offering a £6 / €7 entrée deal in the U.K. and France from 3 PM until close on October 31, 2024.
  • Exclusive Halloween Costumes: In collaboration with Spirit Halloween, Chipotle has launched a limited-edition costume collection inspired by popular social media memes from both brands. Fans can dress up as Chipotle napkins, forks, water cups, burritos, and to-go bags, with the costumes available on SpiritHalloween.com and select Spirit Halloween locations.

Fast-Food Chains Join Halloween Festivities with Spicy Ghost Pepper Sandwiches and Sweet Seasonal Treats

Meanwhile, other fast-food chains are also gearing up for Halloween with new and spicy offerings:

  • Popeyes has introduced the Ghost Pepper Chicken Sandwich, featuring their signature buttermilk-battered chicken breast fillet paired with ghost pepper sauce, barrel-cured pickles, and a butter-toasted brioche bun. For a more indulgent option, Popeyes also offers the Ghost Pepper Bacon & Cheese Chicken Sandwich, which includes smoked bacon and Havarti cheese.
  • Scooters Coffee celebrates the season with the Trick or Treat Blender, a blend of bold espresso, white mocha sauce, and colorful chocolate gems, topped with whipped cream and extra chocolate gems. They’ve introduced the Trick or Treat Cake Bite, a rich cake with peanut butter chocolate candies and a creamy caramel filling coated in smooth milk chocolate to pair with this festive drink.
