It is already a known fact that “Cyberpunk 2077” is a game not made for the younger audience. However, a developer also confirmed that players will have an option to avoid nudity once the RPG is out.
‘Cyberpunk 2077’ gameplay: There’s an option to avoid nudity
Aside from bloody scenes, gamers who have been waiting for “Cyberpunk 2077” know by now that they will also encounter cutscenes that would include nudity. There is a reason that the game has been rated for a mature audience only, but grown-ups who are not into that content can also avoid them while exploring Night City.
A fan recently asked “Cyberpunk 2077” QA Lead Lukasz Babiel if there will be an option to disable nudity while playing the game. The developer then replied with a simple, “Yes.”
It is unclear how this is going to work in the actual gameplay. Images with nudity are unlikely limited to the cutscenes. Some missions or side quests might have nude portrayals as well. In that case, one possible result of turning off nude content in “Cyberpunk 2077” is by having some sort of censorship mechanism.
This is not the only disable option that developers confirmed recently. CD Projekt Red also announced that “Cyberpunk 2077” will be released with a setting that would turn off copyrighted songs. This way, content creators can easily stream their plays without worrying about copyright claims that often lead to videos being taken down.
‘Cyberpunk 2077’ release date still set for December
“Cyberpunk 2077” is one of the most anticipated games in 2020. Unfortunately, fans have had to endure several delays throughout the year.
As of this writing, “Cyberpunk 2077” is scheduled to launch on Dec. 10. It is understandable if some fans are a little hesitant in believing this is the final release date to be set for the game. The RPG was originally scheduled to launch last April until it went through the same fate as “The Witcher 3” and had its release date changed several times.
“Cyberpunk 2077” will launch on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Stadia. CD Projekt Red has also previously announced that there will be a free upgrade for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S consoles.
