Tesla Giga Texas Boosts Cybertruck Output

Stainless steel vehicles are arranged in neat rows outside of Tesla's gigafactory in Texas, as captured by drone footage shot by YouTuber Joe Tegtmeyer. The vehicles are waiting for their deliveries. It was supposedly recorded on the morning of August 23.

Drone footage shot by Joe Tegtmeyer of Tesla's gigafactory in Texas reveals an impressive array of stainless steel automobiles patiently lining up outside the facility, ready for their arrival. It was supposedly recorded on the morning of August 23.

Cybertrucks Ready for Delivery

Along with the video, the YouTuber posted a photo showing fifty Cybertrucks lined up in a row at the manufacturing site, captioning it, "The Cybertruck Armada has activated." Wes Morrill, the lead engineer for Cybertruck, also shared the photograph.

As of this writing, Benzinga has not heard back from Tesla on their request for comment.

The Cybertruck was first delivered by Tesla in November 2023, and the company is already increasing manufacturing in preparation for a 250,000 unit delivery in 2025. According to Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla, the main problem with increasing Cybertruck deliveries is manufacturing, not demand.

Kelley Blue Book forecasts that in the second quarter of 2018, 8,755 Cybertrucks were sold in the United States, up from 2,803 in the first quarter.

Tesla Aims for 2,500 Cybertrucks Weekly

During Tesla's annual shareholder meeting in early June, Musk announced that the company had reached a weekly manufacturing pace of 1,300 Cybertrucks. He also mentioned that the company's goal for the year is to raise it even more, reaching 2,500 units by the end of the year.

Last month, Tesla announced that the manufacture of cybertrucks is on schedule to reach profitability by year's end.
