By this time, most players of “Destiny 2” are possibly looking forward to starting the “Season of Opulence” gameplay. Before that, however, there is one activity they might want to accomplish — visiting Xur’s mobile store.
There is still time left as of this writing to look for Xur and see if the weekly items for sale are worth purchasing. Per tradition, Xur shows up from Friday to Tuesday making his last appearance before the “Season of Opulence” kicks off on May 31 to June 4, the same day the final “Destiny 2: Forsaken” gameplay update goes live.
It has been an activity every weekend for “Destiny 2” players to look for Xur and check what he has in store. The merchant usually offers a set of Exotic gun and armors for every class that can be purchased with a certain amount of Legendary Shards.
Players do not have to spend a great deal of time finding Xur. To find the merchant, “Destiny 2” players should go to the Hangar and then proceed to the Tower. Climb up the staircase on the left side where Xur is waiting.
However, one criticism for the May 31-June 4 round is the lack of an Exotic gun up for sale. But it appeared to be a result of a bug that has since been fixed last Friday. “Destiny 2” players can revisit Xur if they want to purchase the SUROS Regime automatic rifle for 29 Legendary Shards. Titan class can get the Aeon safe Exotic gauntlet, Frost-EE5 leg armor for Hunter class, and Wing of Sacred Dawn chest armor for Warlock class each for 23 Legendary Shards.
As mentioned, “Destiny 2: Forsaken’s” final gameplay update is slated to begin on Tuesday. It will offer a number of exclusive gameplay contents for those who purchased the Annual Pass such as access to the six-player matchmade activity “The Menagerie.”
