Doritos has made its culinary debut with a new restaurant inside Los Angeles' Crypto.com Arena. The menu features everything from Doritos-dusted sushi to creative drinks like the Flamin' Hot Limon Chamoyada, drawing excitement from fans eager to try these chip-infused creations.
Doritos Unveils Chip-Inspired Menu at New Restaurant, Featuring Globally-Inspired Dishes and Cocktails
Doritos has made a splash in the culinary world by opening its first-ever restaurant in Los Angeles, housed in the Crypto.com Arena. Fans are excited over the chip-inspired menu that features everything from light bites and entrées to desserts and even cocktails, all incorporating the beloved flavors of Doritos.
In a statement to Fox Business, Carolyn Braff, vice president of culinary marketing at Frito-Lay, said, "Taking cues from our consumers, we are enabling people to experience their favorite brands from Frito-Lay in delicious new ways. The globally inspired flavors of the Doritos After Dark menu will invite late-night food fans to see the creative and surprising ways Doritos can enhance their favorite meals and cocktails."
Food Influencers Rave About Doritos' Chip-Infused Menu, Sparking Hopes for Expansion Beyond Los Angeles
Food influencer Snackwithzach shared a sneak peek on TikTok, showcasing some of the menu's standout items, including Doritos-dusted sushi, the creatively named Doritos Spicy Sweet Chili Ramen-rito, and classic nachos. For dessert, daring diners can indulge in the Doritos Nacho Cheese Crunchtastic Vanilla Cone, a unique twist on a sweet treat.
For drinks, visitors can quench their thirst with options like the Flamin' Hot Limon Mango Chamoyada or the Late Night Margarita. If the spice overwhelms, the Doritos Nacho Cheese-Infused Michelada offers a cooling yet flavorful option.
Fans across social media are clamoring for more locations, with one commenting that everything on the menu "looks GASSSS." However, there's a catch: the restaurant is only accessible to those attending a ticketed event at the venue, leaving Doritos enthusiasts from other parts of the country disappointed. "Ugh why does that have to be on the literal opposite side of the country for me?" one fan lamented.
While some were skeptical about the concept, others, like Snackolator, admitted, "I’m very skeptical but absolutely want to try it." Snackwithzach playfully questioned, "Dude why aren’t they inviting us to this?"
With the excitement building, many wonder if Doritos will expand the concept beyond Los Angeles, allowing more fans to indulge in the chip-inspired creations.
