OVERLAND PARK, Kan., May 03, 2018 -- Black & Veatch, a global leader in design, construction and power solutions, today announced the promotion of Jim Doull to executive vice president of engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) in the company’s power business in the Americas and EMEIA.
Doull, a 28-year Black & Veatch professional, leads oversight of all facets of large-scale EPC projects in the Americas, Europe, the Middle East, India and Africa, including safety, strategy, recruitment of new business and project execution. Doull will also ensure completion of the current projects assignments in Vietnam.
Doull’s tenure at Black & Veatch has included roles in senior management and leadership, including senior vice president and senior project director of the company’s energy operations in Ann Arbor, Michigan, and in Canada. He also served in Canada as senior project director of the Alberta Oil Sands Cogeneration Project and the ENMAX Shepard Energy Centre Project in Alberta. His titles also have included chief estimator, project manager, and construction operations manager.

Doull has a bachelor’s degree in construction management from Kansas State University and graduated from the Global CEO Program at the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business.
