“Dragon Ball FighterZ” might be getting much of the attention of the Dragon Ball fan base right now, but this doesn’t mean that it’s all that Bandai Namco is focusing on currently. With the “Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2” DLC 7, the developers are bringing a new character into the fold: "Dragon Ball Super’s" Kefla. This is an opportune development, as well, because of how Kefla and Son Gohan are teased to fight in the next issue of the manga series.
First revealed by ryokutya2089.com, the latest character to be added to the game via “Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2” DLC 7 will be the fusion between the characters Caulifla and Kale. This is news that was featured in the Japanese publication V-Jump. An image of the cover was also posted by Twitter user YonkouProd. It contains plenty of details, but only for those who can read Japanese.
As of this writing, there have been no concrete details on what kinds of abilities players can expect from Kefla. However, the magazine apparently hinted that the “Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2” DLC 7 character will have two reactions when unleashing Gigantic Breaker, Siliconera reports. This should prove interesting to those who like massive attacks with plenty of risks.
This “Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2” DLC 7 announcement is also timely in that the upcoming chapter of the Tournament of Power arc in the "Dragon Ball Super" manga will likely involve an engagement between Kefla and Son Gohan, Comicbook.com reports. The publication features an image of a page with translations that depicts a clash between the two characters so that Son Goku can focus on Jiren.
Provided that the “Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2” DLC 7 character becomes available before the series arc is over, fans will have an immersive detail in the game to chew on. They might even recreate some of the scenes in the manga that could potentially involve a souped-up Son Gohan.
