Fans have been patiently waiting for the arrival of “The Elder Scrolls 6” release date for a long time. But recent reports seem to suggest that Bethesda Game Studios is finally gearing up for the development of the title.
‘The Elder Scrolls 6’ will definitely arrive
The good news is that “The Elder Scrolls 6” is already in the bag. Bethesda already made the confirmation that a “Skyrim” sequel is already planned.
The confirmation was made by Bethesda executive Todd Howard back in E3 2018 along with the release of “The Elder Scrolls 6” trailers. However, the game was a no-show in E3 2019 and Howard simply told fans to be patient.
Apparently, another title that Bethesda is working on is pushing back “The Elder Scrolls 6” release date. At the moment, the studio is working on “Starfield,” which will be released earlier than the “ES 6.”
The Elder Scrolls 6 development
But what got fans excited is the recent news from Bethesda Game Studios. The company posted several positions that seem to hint that the development of “The Elder Scrolls 6” might have already started.
“Bethesda Game Studios is looking for talented programmers to join our team that is pushing the bleeding-edge of RPG development for the PC and consoles,” the job listing reads, according to Reddit user u/BongRippaTheSkeptic. “Collaborate on the implementation of new gameplay features: player and characters’ behaviors, combat and powers mechanics, user interface, etc.”
“It seems too late for Bethesda to be hiring for development of ‘Starfield,’” the Redditor speculated. “I'd believe that Starfield has entered it's final polishing stages and Bethesda has started full production of Elder Scrolls 6. Thus, the hiring of new roles.”
‘Elder Scrolls 6’ features
One of the new features of the upcoming game is its homebuilding or Town Creation, according to Otakukart. According to the publication, players are even given the option of building their cities on treetops which would work with the rumored Valenwood setting of the game.
“The Elder Scrolls 6” will also feature a new story. Players will have more ways to explore and interact with the virtual world in the game while, at the same time, playing the story mode campaign. Exactly how this might work is not yet so clear at the moment.
Possible ‘Elder Scrolls 6’ release date window
“Starfield” is set for launch this year or 2021. Since “The Elder Scrolls 6” will be released after “Starfield,” it might be out by 2021 at the earliest. Stay tuned for more updates.
