Fans of Dr. Joan Watson (Lucy Liu) are going to love “Elementary” season 6 episode 13. According to the episode synopsis, one major plot to unfold is about Joan’s plan to adopt a child. However, it was also teased that she might encounter some problems along the way.
“Elementary” is a crime procedural drama series that presents the classic character of Sherlock Holmes in a completely new angle. In this series, Sherlock is portrayed by Jonny Lee Miller and the entire character has been updated with a contemporary approach.
In the upcoming “Elementary” season 6 episode 13, Joan’s adoption arc will be continued. However, the official episode synopsis suggests that it is not going to be an entirely happy episode for her character.
The “Elementary” season 6 episode 13 teaser says Joan’s plans of adopting a child will “suffer a setback.” Joan’s upcoming problem is going to emerge while she prepares her home for a visiting agency caseworker.
By the looks of it, the agency caseworker assigned to her adoption application is likely going to find something unflattering in Joan’s home. It could be something related to the dangerous nature of her job. But whatever it is, it will place Joan another step backward from becoming a mother in “Elementary” season 6 episode 13.
Since Joan’s plan to adopt was introduced in the series, fans have been rooting for her to finally become a mother. However, nothing has been easy for Joan so far. With that, it is unlikely that Joan’s dream of having a child will be suddenly crushed in “Elementary” season 6 episode 13.
Meanwhile, Joan’s work life is also going to face another challenge. With Sherlock, they are going to investigate the murder of a relocation expert. The victim was killed by poisoning.
However, Joan and Sherlock are possibly going to uncover a much bigger web of crimes. The poisoning victim turns out to be a hired killer who was active for several decades before his death. “Elementary” season 6 episode 13 will air on Monday, July 30, at 10 p.m. ET on CBS.
