’Elite’ season 3: When is it returning and what to expect in the next installment?

“Elite” season 3 is a Spanish drama about teens but even so, the anticipation for it around the world is no joke. This is because the series ha gained millions of followers after it was moved to Netflix.

As proof of how popular the show has become, not long after it started streaming on Netflix, “Elite” season 3 has been confirmed although, at that time, the second installment has just been released. Now, the viewers are looking forward to the third season and they can’t wait.

Renewal details

The renewal of “Elite” season 3 was confirmed by Netflix but it was actress Ester Expósito who announced the coming of the new episodes. The actress has been playing Carla since the show’s premiere and her character is still included in the upcoming chapters.

She revealed in October that “#Elite has been renewed for Season 3!” She went on to divulge that they are already done with the filming too thus fans don’t have to wait too long for the return of their drama. Moreover, on the same day, they shared the first look of the two new character additions and they are Sergio Momo and Leiti Sene.

Apparently, the two will be new students at Las Encinas and it is interesting to see what their characters will bring to the storyline. They could be part of the good ones or they can also be allies of the bad guys.

A rehash of the finale

The ending of the previous season left many loose ends thus there are lots of questions that have to be answered. This is why “Elite” season 3 is greatly anticipated as the viewers want closures or information that will satisfy their curiosity regarding the story.

“Lu and Valerio's father catches them in an explicit situation,” the plot summary of the season 2 finale called "0 hours missing" simply reads. “It is revealed that Samuel did not disappear but was hiding in Guzmán‘s grandparents’ house to trap Carla into confessing about Marina‘s murderer.”

With that synopsis, “Elite” season 3 is likely to pounce on Polo more because he has been walking as a free man when he was supposed to be suffering in jail for killing Marina. Some friendships are also likely to be broken as tensions from the murder of their schoolmate is still Intense.
